It is a great privilege to serve as Executive Director for Rape Counseling Service of Fresno, Inc. I offer my admiration and respect to the many victims and their families who have suffered from the crimes of sexual assault and family violence. I praise them for their efforts to recover from the terrible trauma they are faced with, through no fault of their own.

I have great pride in the dedicated and wonderful staff working at all our offices, both in metropolitan Fresno and rural Fresno County (at the Carmen Meza Center).

Pride is followed by great humility felt by all of us that the victim/survivors have placed their trust in us – allowing us to serve them. 

We need the support of the entire community, both financially and emotionally. We need you – all of you - not to shy away from the words RAPE, CHILD MOLEST, CHILD ABUSE, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE  we need you to know that they are words that tell about a life or lives that have been changed forever through no fault of their own!!! The victim/survivors need us! Society needs happy, healthy productive citizens who are recovered or in the process of recovery from these terrible crimes! We ask the community to be united with us to stop these terrible crimes and to educate the community – hopefully preventing the crimes before they are perpetrated!
